License Agreement

On May 29, 2008, Moffitt Cancer Center entered into an exclusive License Agreement with Xceed Molecular, Inc. The licensed invention is directed to the development of a genetic signature into a gene chip used to predict disease stage and to select among therapy options in cancer patients. The Moffitt inventors are Dr. Timothy Yeatman, Dr. Steven Eschrich and Dr. Gregory Bloom. This biomarker set has been evaluated at Moffitt involving patients with colorectal cancer and will continue to be developed in a clinical setting. For more information about this project, please click here. The License Agreement provides Xceed with rights to the invention in exchange for an upfront fee, milestone payments, annual fees and royalties based upon sales of products and services. This invention was made with Government support under federal award DAMD17-02-2-0051 entitled "National Functional Genomics Center."  Please visit Moffitt's Office of Technology Management and Licensing Web site at www.moffitt.org/OTML for further information.
